Kwame Edusei was born an Ashanti in Kumasi, Ghana in 1962. He was born the fifth child of eight children. Kwame obtained his primary school education from the Royal International School in Kumasi and obtained his secondary school education from Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana from 1975-1980.
Kwame obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1991 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1993; from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Kwame Edusei became the Assistant Director for Marketing, Sales and Customer Service for Optimum Choice Incorporated; a subsidiary of Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc. (MAMSI) Optimum Choice introduced the privatization of Medicaid HMO to the state of Virginia.
Kwame is currently a Branch Manager for American Nationwide Mortgage in Norfolk, Virginia. He began this career in 1997. Kwame is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Achievers Counseling Services; an Assistant Professor for the Division of Business, Public Services and Technologies at Tidewater Community College (TCC); and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Psychological Services of Virginia.
Kwame resides in Chesapeake, Virginia with his wife and three children.
